GHD Interiors is an interior design and remodeling firm well known for its best-in-class project work. Founded in 2006, GHD is an award-winning interior design firm that offers design, décor and remodeling services for both residential and commercial clients. In addition to Oklahoma, GHD does work nationally, having completed projects in Scottsdale; Breckenridge; Los Angeles, Kansas City and Chicago.

Why did you choose design?
From an early age, I wanted to pursue interior design. I recall flipping through home magazines like Architectural Digest to study the homes and floor plans being showcased. After taking an interior design course at Tulsa Tech in high school I went on to achieve a Bachelors of Science in Design, Housing & Merchandising with an option in Interior Design from Oklahoma State University. I started with GHD as a summer intern before my senior year and knew it was a fit!
What do you enjoy about design?
I am detail-oriented with a deep passion for design. Every project is an opportunity for creative problem solving to fit the client's needs. Design is more than picking out “pretty things”...it’s about creating inviting and functional spaces that exceed our client's expectations.
What do you do in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy doing all things crafty and spending time at home with my husband, Blake, our two dogs and two cats!
Katie Veit

Why did you choose design?
Growing up in Northern Wisconsin with parents that are both highly creative sparked my interest in design from a young age. With my dad being an incredibly talented woodworker and remodeler, there was always a project going on at our home. Getting hands-on experience helping with those projects are some of my favorite memories. I attended college at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Architecture with a Business Administration Minor. I started working for GHD in 2017 after relocating to Oklahoma with my husband. Currently my husband and I are back living in Wisconsin and I am working remotely!
What do you enjoy about design?
My favorite part about design is problem solving, especially when working on renovation projects. I love working in AutoCAD and SketchUp to see how much a space can be transformed based on the client’s needs and wants.
What do you do in your free time?
In my free time I love to bake and spend time with my family, friends, and husband. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking and being on the lake, especially during Wisconsin summers!
